Helen Francis DeLong

Helen Francis DeLong, 82, died on August 31, 2016 at her daughter’s residence in Milford Twp. surrounded by her family. Born in Shelly, PA; she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Jenny (West) Hillegas, Sr. Helen enjoyed picnics, wildlife, carnivals and fairs, and ice skating. She was employed at Zohlman’s Nursing Home for many years until retiring. Helen was predeceased by a daughter, Shari Smakula, and a brother, Elmer Hillegas, Jr.

Survivors: Daughter, Michele Lonetti and her husband Ralph of Milford Twp.; Son, Brian DeLong and his wife Nicky of Coopersburg; Sister, Gladys Batcsics; Grandchildren, David and Tonya Smakula, Danielle and Stephen Lonetti, and Courtney and Cory DeLong; 10 Great grandchildren; many nieces, nephew, other relatives, and friends.
