Lloyd W. Lichtenwalner
Lloyd W. Lichtenwalner, 90, died Aug. 18, 2016 at his residence in Center Valley. Born in Emmaus, he was the last surviving son of 15 born to the late Preston and Helen (Ernst) Lichtenwalner. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline (Hohe) Lichtenwalner for over 63 years. He was a dairy farmer all of his life. In 2012 he received a Pennsylvania Century Farm designation from the PA Department of Agriculture celebrating 100 years of continuous family ownership. The distinction demonstrates a durability and love of the land that is the heritage of PA and the heart of this proud farmer. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Summit Lawn. He was a life member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and the Upper Saucon Fire Company.
Survivors: Wife, Jacqueline; Sons, David L. and his wife Kathryn, and Wayne W. Lichtenwalner; Daughters, Susan R. Williams and her husband Gary, Barbara E. Wisser and her husband Peter, and Anita M. Rice and her husband James; 12 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren with a Great-Great Grandchild on the way.
